Josie is 9 months TODAY.
Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July. Josie's first 4th was a blast! Kevin and I took the girls to the parade in Creswell, had some friends over for a traditional, very - American, BBQ and then back to Creswell we went for the fireworks. Jo loved the parade, she is very observant. She just sat there wide - eyed taking it all in. She did get spooked when an F-16 flew over us. It was incredible, gave me goose bumps! One of our friends had his 22 month old son with him. He is so sweet. When we first met him he was very shy and would never let go of daddy. Now he's blowing me kisses and look how he is with 'Uncle Kev'...
When Chloe was Jo's age she was terrified of the fireworks, Josie LOVED them. She babbled and kept reaching for the sky. She even fell asleep during the show. This kid can sleep through anything!
So at 9 months Jo gets around! This chicky can MOVE. She now crawls up to tables and the couch and pulls herself to standing! Before long she'll be running!
She loves her food too. This girl can eat! She pretty much skipped baby food. Some of her favorites now are: Cheerios, turkey, ham, cheese, carrots, potatoes, strawberries, pancakes, chicken, and of course chocolate chip cookies. Umpa (that's what Chloe calls my dad) gave Jo her first chips-ahoy and she absolutely digs them!
We have so much to be thankful for. God Bless America!

Happy 9 months Jo!
I love the video you sent of Jo giving five and saying hi. She's so smart! Right when you asked her to say Hi she did! Without hesitation. She looks so happy in those videos. That one is a cute one - you should post it on here.
