1st Christmas

This Christmas will be one to remember. It has been a very emotional one for me. We have so much to be thankful for. It took so long to bring another child into our family and I feel so blessed. My sister is in India right now and with everything going on in the political world in Pakistan right next door I have been worried sick about her and missed her so much around the holidays. We were able to spend a few wonderful days with my mom right before Christmas. She must have brought tons of presents for Chloe must have opened one almost every hour of each day she was with us! Thanks Mom! We even took the girls to see Alvin and the Chipmunks! It was so cute! Although I think Jo was a little freaked out by the size of the movie screen! Christmas Eve mass was beautiful. Both Chloe and Josie were so well behaved. Santa even made a special apperance at the end of mass just to say a prayer at the alter before heading out to deliver gifts. Chloe thought that was pretty cool! Then after mass my dad and step mom came over for cocktails and appetizers. Christmas morning was a blast! Chloe was so excited and Josie didn't have a clue but mommy and daddy had so much fun playing with both of the girls and all their new toys! After opening gifts we headed out to Dad's and up the mountain where we got stuck in the snow for hours!

I have been terrible once again about updating this blog but above are pictures from when my very best friend Kim came to visit from Chicago. Thank you Kimmie for coming to see us! We miss you soooo much!
