The Wonderful World of Food!

Josie is just starting to really explore in the world of food. She tried macaroni and cheese for the first time this weekend. She didn't eat very much. She had a difficult time picking up the slippery little suckers! The couple she did manage to get into her mouth you could kind of tell uncomfortably slid down her throat. She also tried gerber puffs which is similiar to cereal, they just dissolve a little faster. She likes cheerios, but until she masters these puffs I think we will hold off. Last night at dinner we had a roast with mashed potatoes, carrots and gravy. She LOVES mashed up carrots! Go figure. You can't get her to eat baby - food carrots, but loves the REAL thing! And of course she loved the mashed potatoes! Who wouldn't, with milk, butter and some parmesan cheese!!!!

Jo is also on her way to really crusin'! She does much better now sitting up. She is getting VERY confident! When she sits in the bath tub she tries to pull herself up on the side of the tub and does the same in her crib now too! When I am in the kitchen I put her on the floor in front of the 'kid corner'... (where all of Chloe and Josie's cups, bowls, etc are kept) She loves it! She tries to pull herself up to stand there too! Only when she can't and falls over, she has the hard kitchen floor to land on. She gets over it pretty quickly though. With some hugs and kisses she is immediately ready to get back down and play! She's quite the little bruiser just like big sis...

Chloe was suppose to have her last T-Ball game this weekend, but the other team didn't show! So all the parents played the team instead! We had a great time. We have and awards-barbecue next weekend to finish off the season and then we are on to football! Yep, that's right, Chloe is gonna play football! We will see if she can play like her fave Bear player Brian Urlacher! Every night at dinner she still thanks Jesus for the Chicago Bears and the Cubs! Still Chicago at heart!

I can't believe Jo is almost crawling! Before long she'll be running around. That's hilarious that Chloe is thanking Jesus for the Cubs and Bears. She needs to give some love to her Yankess, though. :)
You seriously make the most beautiful babies. Jo just gets cuter and cuter as the days go by. I love that picture with her underwear on her head. And you can tell that she loves her big sister. Whenever she looks at her, in the pictures it seems like they have a really special connection. Make sure to post pics of the BBQ and awards. I can't believe Chloe is playing football. She'll grow out of that soon enough
