Update

What a few weeks it has been!

Kevin's brother Greg has been staying with us since mid January. He made the drive from Chicago with no problems! No snow tires or chains. It has been great having him with us. He is a great cook! We have so much fun together in the kitchen and our Fridays have been a blast too. Usually on our 'Fun Fridays' we venture up to Eugene to explore shops, restaurants, brewerys... I truly love having him here and I know Kevin and the girls do too. Josie warmed up to him right away and Chloe has a buddy to play Madden football with. Greg and I started calling Josie Lucy.... short for Lucifer! I swear sometimes she acts like she is seriously possessed! One afternoon Greg was watching something on T.V. on exorcisms and then Jo started throwing this terrible fit so now when she acts like this we call her Lucy!

2 weeks ago we celebrated Kevin's 30th birthday. I threw him (with the help from some great friends) a surprise party for him at a steakhouse in Eugene. It was perfect he had no idea! The day after his party I arranged with his supervisor at work a day off. So we went the coast for the day! All in all it was a fun weekend!

The last week Chloe and Josie have both become sick. Chloe started out with a runny nose and cough, which then resulted in a visit to the emergency room on Superbowl Sunday because she was wheezing so bad, she could hardly breath. They did chest x-rays and a breathing treatment in the ER. Then when we got home they had the pulmonary company come to the house and set up a nebulizer so she could continue her treatments. Monday we followed up with her pediatrician and we were told she has RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) which is very contagious. So now Josie has the runny nose and cough but so far no trouble breathing thank goodness. It can be very serious especially in little ones. Chloe is still home from school and probably will be for the remainder of the week. Not only is she contagious, but also very susceptible to other bacteria which could result in pnemonia.

Other than that we are alive and well. Hoping and praying each day to keep our jobs. It's scary out there!
